van Halteren, Tymen~ entered into rest at Caressant Care Nursing Home Mary Street West Lindsay on Monday February 26, 2018 at the age of 80. Tymen is the beloved husband for 56 years to Anna Wilms. Beloved father of Douglas (Sue) of Fenelon Falls, Robert (Brenda) of Lindsay, Carl (Lisa) of Fenelon Falls, Irene Kuipers (Richard) of Kingston and Maria Courtois (John) of Lindsay. Cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 5 + great grandchildren. Dear brother of Jerry (Grace), Margaret (Bill) Buwalda, Gertie (Heike) Ottens, Hillie (Aris) Marcus, John (Deb), Zeger (Penny) and Klaasje Teeuwissen (Hank). Fondly remember by his sisters-in-law Grace and Lena. Predeceased by his brothers Pete and Bill. Family and friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, on Thursday March 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service the following day at Jennings Creek Christian Reformed Church, Angeline Street North at 11:30 am. Interment later in the spring, at East Oakwood Cemetery, Oakwood.
