Malcolm George Haslam ~ Entered into rest two days after his 86th birthday, and after a dreadful struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, at Rouge Valley Extendicare, on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Malcolm, loved husband for 50 years of Beryl (predeceased 2005). Adored father of Carol (Christidis) and her husband Michael of Toronto. Loved brother of John (predeceased) and his wife Bernice in England, Pat and her husband Jim, and Ross and his wife Maureen in mid-Wales. Cousin of Bernice and her husband Gwyn in Swansea, Wales. Long-time friend of Ina and Wayne (predeceased) Perry, and many others. Sincere thanks to Dr. Horne Ing and the staff at Rouge Valley Extendicare for their care and support over the past two years as well as the caring staff at Lakeland Village in Lindsay, especially Penny and Tammy. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. onwards with remembrance service at 2 p.m. followed by reception. Private interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
