Lindy was born and raised in Lindsay. He was a graduate of LCVI and Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology. Lindy has been a Licenced Funeral Director since 1987. He is now the sole owner of the three generation family business funeral home. He spent his internship at the Turner and Porter Funeral Home in Toronto, and has since been back at home at the Mackey Funeral Home. Lindy is married to Stephanie Mackey together they have four children and he is actively involved in the community through many local agencies. A caring and professional approach to the provision of services is essential for grieving families. Mackey Funeral Home’s quality of care is a hallmark of service that families have come to expect from everyone representing the business. The staff at Mackey’s take special care to explain service options and cost considerations. Whether clients choose simple, contemporary, or traditional services, cremation or burial, our priority is always to respect the needs of each individual family and the person whose life is being commemorated. We work with Riverside Cemetery in Lindsay (the only crematorium in Lindsay) for all cremation services.
