Lover of Hockey, Fishing, and Travel

Passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on October 18th, 2018 at the age of 72 after a brave battle with Leukemia. Al was the beloved husband of Kerry (née Hogan) for 40 years. Proud father of Tim (Lisa), Dave (Karen), Jeff (Carolyn), and Adam (Sofia). Grandpa of Dylan, Skyler, Treyce, Bryce, Brooke, Cooper, Luca, Melina, Albert, and Henry. Al is survived by his brothers Bob, and John (Lorraine). Predeceased by his parents Albert and Freda, and brother Mike (survived by Sue). Al will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Saturday, November 3rd from 12:00 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers, donations to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, the Hockey Canada Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
