Margaret E. Plaunt (née Walden) - Entered into rest with family and friends by her side at the Ross Memorial Hospital on July 23, 2018. Margaret is the beloved wife of Douglas Plaunt in their 48 year of marriage. Loving mother of Katie Plaunt (Zoltan Barabas) and Jeremy Plaunt (Tamara Lucas). Cherished and adored grandmother of Carter Kinkade, Mackenzie Plaunt, Anderson Plaunt, Sullivan Plaunt and predeceased by Dawn Kinkade. Margaret is survived by her mother Evelyn Walden (née Imrie) and predeceased by her father Lorne Walden. Dear sister of Joan Blackbourn, Donna Lee Roche (Mike), Rick Walden (Gwen), Bob Walden (Laurie), sister-in-law of Donna Tamlin (Greg), Betty Khattab (Sam). Marg will be missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends (too many to list - but you know who you are). Some of Marg’s greatest achievements were that she was a passionate, energetic and determined Nurse (1971), Fleming College Health Nurse, a mature student - completing her Bachelor of Administration degree while her children were teenagers - to becoming a top selling Pharmaceutical Representative, Marg could handle any project and size. Visitation will take place at Celebrations (35 Lindsay Street North) on Friday, July 27th from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. Funeral service to take place at Cambridge Street United Church (61 Cambridge Street North) on Saturday, July 28th at 11:00a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to Community Care Kawartha Lakes – Hospice Services or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
