Obituary for Gordon Smith
SMITH, Walter “Gordon” - A longtime employee of Canadian General Electric. Gord passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on March 14, 2018 in his 86th year. Gord was a devoted husband of Kay (née McCullough) for 64 years. Much loved Dad of Marlene Wood (Gregory) of Bethany, Michael (Regina) of Woodstock and Paul of Lindsay. Papa will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gord will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his only sister, Florence Brinklow (Ron) of Trenton and special sister-in-law, Grace Campbell of Toronto. Visitation will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Lindsay on Monday, March 19th from 2:00 until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. If desired, a memorial donation to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Lindsay or Ballyduff Cemetery would be greatly appreciated by the family.
