Bevan, Michael Frank (Retired Officer of Durham Regional Police for 30 years) – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Michael at the age of 75, was the cherished husband of Linda (née Tozer) for 56 years. Loving father of Lisa Rivers and Catharine Bevan (Dave McCaul). Beloved Poppa of Cassandra Ashby (Mike), Elizabeth Rivers, and Caroline Bevan (Len). Dear brother of Mary Ballantyne (Dave) and brother-in-law of Jeanette Sproule (Ron) and Nancy Creamer. Predeceased by parents Leo and Elizabeth Bevan. Michael will be missed by extended family and friends. Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 24th at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street from 1:30 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 3:00p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow the service at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North.
