Condolence: My two favourite memories of Janelle also happen to be my last two memories of her. First one was when she was at La Mantia's in Lindsay and I had posted a Facebook request for the best possible peanut butter cookies because, like any young female, sometimes you just need peanut butter cookies. WELL. Her and Emily both instantly messaged me and gave me the "GO TO LAMANTIA's. THEY HAVE THE BEST PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES". So I went and Janelle happened to be working. This girl gave me the biggest smile in the world as she checked me out and I snapped a photo and sent it to Emily. I still have the photo to this day for no other reason other then I just didn't want to delete it. My very last memory of Janelle was again with her and her sister Emily and we went to the Lindsay Fair. It was so bloody hot outside and the heat made us miserable. But to cheer us up, and because I had never had one before (both Emily and Janelle looked at me like I was psychotic), we got ourselves Beavertails. And let me tell you, what a good time. I have always had the relationship with Janelle where I could be absolutely ridiculous and probably the most unfiltered person on the universe and she would always join in. I would tell Emily and Janelle funny stories about the boys in my life and Janelle would always just laugh. out. loud. She was a shining light (just like Emily) and hanging out with them always made me feel really good. Even growing up with them, and when Emily would have her pool parties, I always gravitated to being Janelle's side kick to stir the pot in some way... or just to straight up make each other laugh until water or pop came out our noses. She was the most amazing character I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The MacPhersons... all of them... are genuinely good people that you would never ever ever ever ever want anything bad to happen to. They are all rockstars. For this, I am sorry. Rob and Laura, you raised two of the most genuine people in the entire world. That is something to be so proud of (and I appreciate it greatly). Emily, you could not have been a better sister. Never doubt that and continue to live the most fulfilling life humanly possible.
