Bertino, Lena (Michelina) Maria – Entered into rest with her family by her side on Thursday, September 14th at the Ross Memorial Hospital in her 87th year. Daughter of Cosimo “Charlie” and Severina “Sarah” Lamantia. Beloved wife for 56 years of the late Anthony Bertino. Loving mother to Nancy (Joseph), and Joe (Tina). Cherished grandmother of Alexander of Lindsay, Matthew (Margarita) of Ohio, Michael of Hamilton, Holly-Anne (Joshua Stone) of Lindsay, Julian of Ottawa, Zachary of Ottawa and great-grandmother of Hayleigh Finch of St. Catharines, Anthony and Andrew of Ohio. Sister of Jean Watson of Maple and predeceased by sister Mary Preti. Fondly remembered by her nephews Bruce Facini (Sheila), David Facini and Charles Preti (Annie). Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18th at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay from 6:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North on Tuesday, September 19th, at 11:00 a.m. If desired, a memorial donation to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church – Restoration Fund would be appreciated by the family.
