Laura Jocelyn McDonald~ entered into rest after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer at her home on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the age of 35. Laura McGuckin was the loving wife of Andy McDonald. Loved daughter of Ron and Cathie McGuckin and daughter-in-law of Kerry McDonald and her late husband Edward and Brenda McDonald. Cherished by her sister Karen (Ian Watson) and brother Darryl (Lisa) McGuckin also brothers-in-law Ross (Maddie) McDonald and Tyler (Brooke) Davey. Fondly remembered by her grandmother Evelyn McGuckin and survived by her nieces and nephews Owen, Sawyer, Colleen, Devin, Abby and Caleb. Family and friends are invited to a service to celebrate Laura’s life at Woodville United Church, 104 King Street, Woodville on Saturday September 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm. If desired memorial donations to the Woodville United Church or Lakeridge Health Foundation (Cancer Centre Oshawa) can be made at Mackey Funeral Home or online at www.mackeys.ca.
