Condolence: Marilyn & family, While we are saddened by Jack's passing, I hope you find solace in knowing how much he meant to so many people. My mother, Helen, thoroughly enjoyed her many years teaching with him in the Commercial department at LCVI. Her sentiments would be summed up with the words "He was the best!". Please accept my sincere sympathy to all of you.

Condolence: Jack was my neighbour at the cottage for 51 years. I always liked our long conversations over the fence. We both shared stories about being secondary principals. He would often come by after his long walks to Ingoldsby to say hi. He was always a fighter and overcame so many serious health obstacles with courage and fortitude. I enjoyed watching his beautiful children John and Laurie playing in the lake and now their children. I will truly miss Jack, he was a true gentle man.

Condolence: Your loss is shared by many at this time. Mr. Debois taught me my debits and credits during my last high school year (bookkeeping as it was known) and he was a great teacher. He remembered me also over his lifetime in my financial career. He was a gentleman and a man of his word. Comfort each other during this difficult time.

Condolence: Jack was one of my Business and Commerce teachers at the LCVI during the 1960's. If you have ever had a teacher who took the time to care, inspired your dreams, or changed your life, you know that great teachers can make a big difference. They give us hope, direction, and new ideas. They challenge us and shape the way we see the world. Thank you Jack for preparing me for my working career. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless! Marie North

Condolence: Our sincere condolences to the whole family. Jack was a real gentleman and a great chatter. We so enjoyed chats with him (at the Durham Cafe or anywhere we happened to meet up)! He was so proud of his family and loved to update us on their whereabouts, especially Kayla whom I taught in Ktn! He will certainly be missed but we are glad and feel privileged to have known him!
