PARKER, William “Wimpy” (Employee of Union Carbide over 30 years) – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Bill in his 88th year was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Martindale. Loving father of Lorri Swinson (Steve Simone) of Calgary and David (Cristina) of Ajax. Cherished brother of June Lye, Ron Parker and predeceased by Henrietta Graham, Yvonne Parker, and John Parker. Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home (33 Peel Street, Lindsay) on Thursday, August 31st from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Alzheimer’s Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
