Burns, Thomas James Pike “Jim” – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday July 26, 2017 at the age of 72. Jim was the beloved husband of Christina Pantalone for 27 years. Loving father of Bob Burns and Gord Demars. He will be missed by his grandchildren Alexandra Baxter and her husband Keith, Aubrie Hooker and her husband Andrew. Great Grandchildren Ellie May, Evelyn, and Lochlan. To the many who loved the kind, giving and caring heart of Jim Burns, there will be a Celebration of Life at the Burnt River Community Center (16 Somerville Road, Burnt River) on Tuesday August 8th, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A light lunch will be available. Please bring a donation for the Burnt River Community Center in memory of Jim. Funeral arrangement have been entrusted to the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street (705-328-2721).
