Doreen Elizabeth Acton – Peacefully passed away with family by her side on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. Doreen, at the age of 89, was the beloved wife of Bruce Acton for 69 years. Loving mother of Nancy and her husband Terry Osborne. Cherished grandma of Melissa and John (Alisa); great-grandma of Hope and Alexander. Doreen is survived by her brother Wayne Currie (Jennifer), and sisters-in-law Margaret Drew (Delmer), Bernice Currie and Marlene Currie; she was predeceased by her siblings Don, Andy and Viola. She will be forever loved and remembered by her nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721) on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Cedarvale Cemetery, Cannington.
