Pollock, Jane ~ Passed away peacefully at Glen Hill Strathaven Lifecare Centre in Bowmanville on September 11, 2018 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her beloved husband Mel (1995). Survived by her children Liz Bartlett (Ted), and Doug (Bridget Nolte). Proud Grandma of Kelsey, Jaimie, and Drew. Jane will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Glen Hill Strathaven, especially the Maple Station Staff. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Thursday, September 13th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place the following day with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow, and interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family and may be made at Mackey Funeral Home via cheque, or online at www.mackeys.ca
