Eyers, Laverne George – Past District Governor Victoria District and 49 year member of Moose Lodge # 659, Lindsay. Entered into rest at Caressant Care Nursing Home with his family at his side. Laverne was the beloved husband of Ruth (Stephens) for 69 years. Loved father of Anne Flora (Stewart), Bob (Stella), Tom (Cheryl), Louise (Ken) Scully, Grace (Harold) Reeds, Paul (Donna) also daughter in law Judy Eyers and Mari Gill-Eyers. Predeceased by his sons John and Danny. Dear brother of Kay Coad, Doreen Hill, Ruth (Jim) Munro, Barb Graham and sister-in-law Adeline Ayres. Predeceased by Lloyd Ayres, Mary and Vic Chandler , Dorothy and Barry Reeds, brothers-in-law Alvin Coad and Ron Graham. Cherished by his 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home on Sunday June 3 from 12:00 until time of service at 3:00.
