Condolence From: Susan McNulty (Burke)
Condolence: Very sad to learn of Pal's passing and touched to see mom mentioned in her obituary. Pal was truly one of a kind with a big heart and terrific sense of humour and I cherish memories of her and the laughter that was certain in her company. Deepest condolences to the Marshall Family.

Condolence: Florence “Pal” Marshall
We have lost the Matriarch of our Family.
She was a Mother, a Grandmother, a Great Grandmother, an Aunt, a Great Aunt, a Friend to many, and the most kind, caring, and decent person that I ever had the privilege to know. Pal was the light that guided us all. With her practicality, fierce independence, take charge attitude, and right up to and including her last breath today, kept her dignity and her awesome sense of humour. Even as disease ravaged her body, Pal maintained a positive attitude proclaiming that she was the luckiest and richest person on earth. This was because she believed she had been blessed with such a loving family and a wonderful group of friends. These relationships and family were what Pal was most proud of.
Granny went out on her own terms, the disease may have taken her body but she would not allow it to take her spirit or her soul.
“Pal went out with her boots on”!
Right now we all feel the profound sadness of the loss that she is no longer with us. However we must take one of the pages from her book and realize the silver lining in this situation. We must be glad that she suffers no longer, is at peace and has now crossed over to be with the loved ones that have gone before her.
I believe my Uncle expressed it best ... “sorrow yes, however I have this smile in my soul which makes me proud to be her son and to have the family that we do”.

Granny, I’m thankful for our time together and for all that you taught me.
I raise a toast in honour of your final wishes...
Remember me with smiles not tears,
For all the laughter through out the years.
Recall the times we shared as ours, A season as bright as spring flowers.
Don’t dwell on thoughts that cause you pain,
We’ll see each other once again.
I’m at peace... try to believe,
Our time was up... I had to leave.
What a view I have from here,
I can see your face cause I’m always near.
I’ll follow you most every day,
Your never alone... I’m here to stay.
When your time has come... you will be,
Side by side... right here with me.
Patiently I wait... by Heaven’s door,
Again united... for evermore.

Rest In Peace Granny, You earned it!
