CORNELISSEN Rita entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital Lindsay on Saturday, December 16th 2017 at the age of 86. Rita VanHooft beloved wife of Martin Cornelissen, predeceased by her first husband John Hubers (1990). Loved and adored mother of Rena Hubers, Johnny Hubers, Linda Wagner, Wilma “Willy” Hubers, Jeff Hubers (Kristine), and Karen Hubers. Cherished grandmother of Lauren Wagner, Erin Wagner, David Hubers and Daniel Hubers. Dear sister of Adrian VanHooft (Corrie), Marie Timmers (Tony), Anne Timmers (John), Rose Kemmis (Mike Levan), Jean Gerrits (the late Gerry), predeceased by brother John VanHooft (the late Betty). Family and friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home 33 Peel Street Lindsay on Thursday December 28th from 6 until 8 p.m., with Memorial Mass on Friday December 29th at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Lindsay at 11 a.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
