ANDERSON, Anna Marie – With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Aunt Marie, in her 93rd year. She passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday, August 3, 2018. Marie was the beloved daughter of Alton and Bessie Anderson (predeceased). Loving sister of Raymond and Ruth (predeceased) Anderson, and Evelyn and Clarence (predeceased) Wilson. Loving aunt to Sharon and Paul (predeceased) Black, Robert and Nancy Anderson, Ted and Melitta Wilson, and Anne and Dave Nicholls; special great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Marie started her career in Toronto, and later moved back home and worked her last position at Union Carbide in Lindsay. She enjoyed trips overseas, and to the Holy land with friends. Marie was very active in her church serving on committees and attending church regularly. She also enjoyed church dinners where her favorite desserts were Rhubarb and Strawberry pies. Visitation will be at the Cambridge Street United Church, 61 Cambridge Street North, Lindsay on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service in the Church at 11:00 a.m. Reception will follow in the lower hall. Interment at Eden Cemetery, Cambray will take place following the reception. Memorial donations to either Cambridge Street United Church or Queen Street United Church, would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the hospital staff on the Palliative Care floor for their extensive warmth and love, and also to Caressant Care Mary Street Retirement Home for all of their care and love.
