NOKES James “Jim” ~ remembered as a humble, gracious, gentle man of integrity who lived his faith, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, at the age of 82. Jim is the best friend and devoted husband of Milly for 51 years. Much-loved dad of Liz Grimes (Ron Wittenberg), Carol (Jeff Pypker) and Ted (Susan) Nokes. Cherished Poppy of Jesse (Rebecca) and Regan (Victoria D'Ariano) Grimes; Joshua (Kayla Parsons), Andrew (Kristen) and Matthew (Megan) Nokes; Rebecca, Levi, Mary Violet and Angelina Pypker; also great grandfather of Liam and Julianna Grimes and Emerson Nokes. Predeceased by his brothers George (Mary) Nokes and Morley (Lenore) Nokes. Dear brother-in-law to Denny (Anne) Martyn, Joanne Brethour, Jim (Helen) Martyn. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends are invited to call at Mackey Funeral Home 33 Peel Street Lindsay on Friday, March 16 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm also Saturday March 17 at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 125 Victoria Avenue North, Lindsay from 12 until time of service in the church at 1:00 pm. A spring interment will be held at Salem Mariposa Cemetery. Memorial donations to Heritage Christian School or Precept Ministries may be made at the Mackey Funeral Home or online at www.mackeys.ca
