COPOT, Christel Dora – Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, January 24TH. Predeceased by her husband Ivan. Christel possessed the gift of hospitality and this loving couple entertained cherished friends in their local homes for many years. She truly had a Christian servant’s heart, graciously caring for and serving others. The Visitation and Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 27TH at the Park Street Baptist Church, 16 Park Street North, Peterborough; visitation is 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with the service following at 12:00 p.m., Pastor Malcolm Young officiating. The interment will take place later at Emily Cemetery, Omemee. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Bible Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721), online condolences may be made at www.mackeys.ca
