McTaggart, James “Jim” David ~ Veteran of the WWII ~ Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27th at Caressant Care, Mary Street, Lindsay. James was the beloved husband of the late Genevieve Thibadeau. Loving father of Douglas and his wife Linda. Grandpa of Lauren (Justyn) and Shaun (Katie), great grandfather of Jasper. Predeceased by his brother Lewis McTaggart (the late Ruth) and sister Ida Finnley (Jack). Survived by sister-in-law Irene Jack (the late Colin) and predeceased by brother-in-law Leonard Thibadeau (the late Verna). James will be missed by extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721) on Thursday, June 1st from 1:00 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion service will be held in the chapel at 1:45p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
