Queen, James “Jim” (founder of James Queen Plastering and Drywall, avid badminton, golf and tennis player) ~ entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in his 85th year. Jim was the devoted husband for 55 years to May Queen. Loving father of Anne Queen and her husband Stephen Blanchard, John and his wife Donna Lee, Martin and his wife Tanya, Christine and her husband Rob Fennimore. Cherished grandfather and Poppa to Shannon, Patrick, Breanne, James Jr., Aidan, Logan, Alanna and her husband Lucas Schurman and Taryn. Dear brother of Mary Degman. Predeceased by his brother Mick and his wife Jessie, Danny and his wife Mary and sister Margaret Queen. Jim will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews in Scotland. Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, Lindsay on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial from St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, November 24, at 11a.m. Interment to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, Lindsay.
